Following publication of the Minutes of the HLS Board Meeting on 3 October, we wrote to the Official Verderer about the proposed “restoration” of Thompson’s Castle mire.  Subsequently we were given assurances by Mike Seddon, Deputy Surveyor, that “at this point [the Forestry Commission] have no formulated plan for work at Thompson’s Castle mire and we will contact you should this situation change “.
