Data collection

During the summer we have been continuing to collect data on the various species of birds, dragonflies/damselflies, invertebrates and plants present in or near Latchmore Brook. Selected information from each survey is available if you click on the appropriate word:  please let us know if you have seen any species which are not on our lists, as we may be able to add them.  A pond supporting several protected species has been designated a Priority Pond by the Freshwater Habitats Trust;  and we are in the process of arranging for a survey of fish present in the stream to be carried out.  All this information is part of the Latchmore archive but also will be invaluable when/if we need to comment on an application for planning permission.
